These are the movie series that I can watch till the end of time. Whether it be family dinner or a fun night with friends, these are my go-to film series to put on the big screen:
1. Dhoom Series

This action-packed South Asian blockbuster movie series is focused on iconic crime heist stories, which get more complex and thrilling throughout each movie. Each film presents a unique aesthetic of crime-solving stories, which is consistently led by the comedic dynamic of the two police officers Jay Dixit (Abhishek Bachan) and Ali Akbar Khan (Uday Chopra).
What makes this series so appealing is the visual effects that are critical to the cops-and-robbers chases, complex robberies, and colorful musical numbers. This movie series has the perfect amount of comedy, action, romance, and excitement, which is bound to have you finishing all three films in one sitting.
2. It: Chapter 1 and 2

This jump-scaring series about the kid-hungry clown, Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård) reappearing in the lives of childhood friends is bound to have you scared to go down to your basement.
What impresses me about these films is the emphasis on the power of friendship and love, which sounds odd considering this is a horror series. As if the chilling stories about children fighting off this clown aren’t horrifying already, Pennywise the Clown haunts them into their adult lives and makes another attack. The union of friends, the depth of human connection, and the intensity of fear are unmatched in these movies.
3. Hera Pheri Series: Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri

This incredibly-comedic South Asian film series is about 3 housemates Ram (Akshay Kumar), Shyam (Sunil Shetty), and Babu Bhaiya (Paresh Rawal) who fall victim to deadly money scheme that transforms their lives. The hilarious characters, mind-bending adventures, and outstanding storyline in both films are bound to have you laughing till your stomach hurts.
I do not exaggerate when I say I have watched this movie series at least 15 times. It’s that good.
4. Grown Ups Series

The Grown Ups series is an infamous comedy series featuring some of the best faces of comedy that Hollywood offers: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, and more. The adventures of grown-up childhood friends, heart-felt family stories, and never-ending fun will have you glued to your seat.
The boys are here to let you know that being an adult doesn’t mean you can’t have fun.

I like the part 1 of these more than the part 2 (just an opinion).
