The majority of us were introduced to the idea of manifesting through social media platforms. Exciting techniques, affirmations, and visualizations intrigued us because they confirmed our desires. However, after experiencing multiple manifestations I’ve wanted, I’ve realized that mainstream media barely scratches the surface and overcomplicates manifesting.
Manifesting isn’t about getting a specific object, person, or experience. It’s about realizing that everything you’ve ever wanted is who you truly are. It’s your truth.
Confused? There was a time where I was just as confused as you are. I’m here to clear that confusion up so you can start living the life experience of your dreams.
We do not manifest what we want, are in desparation for, or wish for. We manifest who we are. Are you worried, fearful, and feeling victimized by everything around you? That’s what your surroundings will reflect. Are you confident, content, and peaceful? You can trust the world will reflect that fulfillment in the form of your desires.
The world reflects your inner state of being. Notice how I didn’t say “inner state of wanting” or “inner state of wishing”. Manifesting is about BEING. In this context, “being” simply means connecting yourself with the awareness that you are. Your truth is that you are pure consciousness/awareness.
“But actually my name is….. and I work at……and I’m actually…..”.
Yes, you might be an architect, you might be a mother with 4 kids, you might be a lawyer. That’s great. However, when all those identities are removed, you are just consciousness/awareness.
What is consciousness, you may ask? It’s the one constant aspect that’s been present since you were born. It’s been there during your 5th birthday party. It’s been there when you were fired from your job. It’s nature is peaceful, present, fulfilled, and unaffected by anything that occurs. That awareness or consciousness is the TRUTH of who you are.

“But what about my manifestations? I still want to see my dream car in my driveway!”.
I hear you. Let’s put it into perspective: your consciousness will remain the same when you have your car. It will stay the exact same if you had absolutely nothing. So what is the difference in the truth between the two scenarios? None. The consciousness that you are remains stable.
That means, without wanting or being desparate for your desire, it can and will automatically show up without you have to struggle for it. You don’t need to affirm for it 50 times each hour. You don’t need to burn sage and surround yourself with crystals. You can do these if it makes you feel good; however, it’s much more simple and easier than that.
Your only job is to rest peacefully in the consciousness that you are. Here, there are no stories, problems, history, or limitations. Here, everything you’ve ever wanted exists as a norm. Here, your desires are so normal that your conscious brain may not even register it.
There is just is-ness. Everything literally just is.
While this concept may feel abstract, it’s something you are experiencing all the time. You just may not be aware of how simple it is because we tend to overcomplicate (you can thank your brain for that).
To get a taste of this, simply remove the meaning, story, and assumptions you have about everything right now. Just see your room as a room. See your friends as just people. Look at your job as just tasks to complete. See your circumstances as simple events.
The more you observe things objectively, many grudges, fears, or doubts lose their power. In this way, you are more clear-minded and less judgemental. Naturally, you are in a state of contentment, knowing, and peace. Your desires have no choice but to show up!
The best part hasn’t even come yet. Now that your desires are physically in your life, they are no longer the source of your joy or satisfaction. Conseqeuntly, there is no attachment to the person, place, or thing. You are now stable, secure on your own, and not dependent on things around you.
Isn’t that wonderful? To enjoy the richness of life without grasping, scarcity, or mental chaos? That, my friend, is the truth of who you are. Your desires are the truth of who you are.
Let me know in the comments below what you think of this concept!
Wow..that makes sense.
I can connect many things that way, when I’m in the zone and nothing else matters around me, a pure blissful state. I believe that is my true consciousness.
I really enjoyed reading through your blog and practiced a bit along the way. Thank you for sharing, Smriti!!
